About me
I am a principal research scientist at a global biopharmaceutical company, Abbvie. Before joining Abbvie, I worked as a computational biologist at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard. My research at the Broad Institute focused on the analyses of large-scale genomic datasets for complex traits in humans and animals. I am also interested in biotechnology and translating scientific findings and technologies into the real world.
I received a BSc in Biological Sciences from KAIST, followed by a MSc in Pharmacology from the University of Oxford, a master’s degree in Management (operations research) from Harvard University, and a PhD in Computational Biology from the University of Oxford. I also received postdoctoral training at the Broad Institute.
